Introduction

The ride will begin on July 5th or 6th. The plan is to about 1900 miles in 10 weeks, ending in Sept. That date will probably be extended.

For those that stumble across this on looking for information on bike touring across Euroland, I'll include maps and descriptions that might be useful.

In the social media age, self-promotion has run a muck... presentation layer valued over content... face-time over competence... promises over results... There’s a bit of misgiving in setting this up.

This is going to be a great experience, and these pages are to remember and share… not primarily self-congratulations. Although clearly, there’s a bit of that going on as well.

I fully expect, welcome, and encourage family/friends to take me to task on that measure.
